Messed Up

I let thigs get out of hand
I look back to see my mistakes
There's no changing that
I could only look forward
Wait for what happens next
Why did I let it get so bad

How did I fall behind
Why did I let things get in my way
Delay me from succeeding
My life is horrible now
Debt and stress keep me down

All I have now is my family
Not to mention my friends
They help me through
And stand by my side

Why they are there I don't know
But I'm happy they are here for me
Cause I'll always be there for them
I just wish I could change the past
At least some of the decisions
I made that brought me down

I just wish things were different
and I wouldn't have messed up
