At the edge

by Josh Sowiecki   Feb 20, 2005

I've been locked up now for many years
And though at the edge I can cry no tears
These walls are deadening my once gental heart
They've taken my spirit and tore it apart
Worst of all they keep me from you
And that's something no man should have to go through
What keeps me driving on is to know
That you'll be with me no matter where I go
Soon the miles between us will decrease
And the lonely nights will finally cease
I'll lay with you all through the night
And what's messed up I will make right
I love you and you're the only one for me
So I give you my hand to have when I'm free
