Watch me fly

by deadnalone   Feb 28, 2005

I know this is not very good and a bit strange, it was just a random thought.

Take this bleeding heart of mine,
Rip its roots and rip its core,
Take from the darkness inside,
The feelings that leave me wanting more,

Spill my blood over the floor,
And pick up my remains,
Watch my body as it dies,
Watch my weight as it gains,

Hold my heart in front of my eyes,
Show me my heartbeat,
Then do your twisted dance,
To the tapping of my bloody feet,

No energy in this cold, hard corpse,
Blood drained, frozen and torn,
The skin is ripped all down its seams,
Seams that weren’t there when I was born,

Seams I made with a blade,
A pin, a piece of glass,
Seams all across my wrists,
Are now open and bleeding fast,

I see the empty, dark behind,
The darkness of my eyes,
Watch me drift and watch me fly,
As silently this soul, it dies.
