What I Wouldn't Do

by Ashleigh Skye   Mar 4, 2005

I will not slit his throat,
I will not watch him bleed,
I will not listen carefully,
as for his life he starts to plead.

I will not ignore his cries,
when he begs for one last chance,
I will not smile with glee,
at his pitiful circumstance.

I will not just stand there,
pouring salt in his open wounds,
I will not start to giggle,
as his finger resembles prunes.

I will not feel disappointed,
when he finally passes away,
I then will not cook up his body,
and serve it as an entree.

I will not feed it to his friends,
as they enter to say good-bye,
I will not have put the body,
ground up in the pie.

I will not start to grin,
as they eat it up without a clue,
I definitely wouldn't do this,
especially not to you.

Well at least you said you wouldn't do all of that. Funny how you wrote a whole poem on what you wouldn't do huh? Maybe a little sarcastic?
