Love is,
Waking up to feel a swelling heart
To know that there's some one you love
To know that you'd never be apart

Love is,
Feeling your touch
Feeling your lips kiss mine
you're lips, like a sweet red wine

Love is,
Having someone just there
Some one to talk to
Some one that cares

Love is,
two people that are meant to be
meant to be together
love is what you mean to me.

Yet Love breaks all the unwritten rules.

Love is,
Waking up to feel an empty heart
to know they no longer love
to know that you'll forever be apart

Love is,
Feeling the tears
feeling them run down my face
feeling there warmth on my lips

Love is,
having no one there
no one to talk to
no one that cares

Love is,
Two people that are meant to be
meant to be together
love was you and me.

    I like it! i liked how you used a different style, i think it makes your poem different than all the other love poems out there. I also like how you've added both sides to love and i particularily like your last line, it sums it up very well. good job

    love poems are extremely hard to write and accomplish; myself, I dont write them for this purpose. Good job on this, though.
    "feeling there warmth on my lips"
    there needs to be THEIR....=)
