Like a Rose

by EssenceOfLace   Mar 18, 2005

Now to you I'm like a rose,
you picked me from a bush one warm sunny day,
and watched me open up and grow to love you.
Then slowly, but carefully, you lay me softley between two pages of a book and closed it, then layed it back upon the shelf.
Now all I am to you is a pressed memory that you may always look back upon and remember the good times we had together.
