Transcendence

by Tessa   Mar 25, 2005

Transcend all that is given in flesh
the glorified illusion once held to best
given the circumstance one to concede
condescend nostalgia promise proceed
Imagine a time so long ago
without the vanity attachments in flow
where pride and honesty was held and prized
and a mothers affection not so denied
kinship and companion was not so rare
and emotion to show was not hard to care
Before the cold and ice age set in
When the battle of angels and demons began

WOW! Brilliant! Very historical yet still fantasyish. I loved it. Your wording was flawless; very powerful. I loved your description, and the mention of the "ice age" brilliantly done and finished so neatly.
    5/5 definetely! :-)
