I wish I didn’t like you
I wish you were just a friend
But the idea that you liked me back
Has caused wounds that will never mend.

I delved into this idea
That we could be one again
I dumped you 2 years ago
It’s only now that I feel the pain.

After a certain boy dumped me
And I was so very hurt
You were my shoulder to cry on,
But now you treat me like dirt.

We were just “friends with benefits”,
Our kisses meant nothing to you,
But when I was enlaced in your arms
I wanted to say: “I love you!”

After February vacation,
When you fooled around with someone else
We never had our moments again,
You hid me away on your shelf.

You’re now practically dating this girl
Who is now your best friend’s ex,
I wish that you were only going out with her
For and objective reason: sex.

But you told me you really liked her
Something that I should have told you
But now you only want her
And with me you are just…through.

I’ve been hurt so much this year,
By people I thought were true,
Although I’ve been rejected my most,
I never thought I’d be by you.

    I'm really sorry, i hope you are ok. you deserve someone better, someone that recognises how great you are. keep writing(i wish i could just cant seem to write). keep it up, its well written. good job.
