The Gift

by AJ   Mar 29, 2005

Blurry eyes,
Angry tears,
I rush to my room,
My future tomb.

Uncontrolled rage,
Anger controlls me,
I need help,
Where is everyone?

I reach for the knife,
It's under my pillow,
But instead of cold steel,
I touch soft fur.

What's this,
Wheres the knife,
I pull it out,
A blue lion.

My gift from her,
On valentines day,
I know she's out there,
And for her I stay.

Thank you my love,
For the gift,
Your love saved me again,
From myself.

Where would I be,
What would I do,
If it wasn't for you,
I'd probably be lost,
Lost beyond hope.

In my mind,
Soft fur,
Replaced cold steel.

Thank you,
For the gift.
