Torn apart

I hate how we've grown so far apart
it's torn a great hole in my heart
I hate how we've gone different ways
and how I miss you each and everyday

I miss being able to say thats my best friend
the only one on which I can depend
I miss our laughs and our cries
which now leaves tears upon my eyes

I wish things would go back to the way they were before
Instead time moves on and my eyes become so sore
I wish we were as close as we used to be
If only you could see

Just how far we've grown apart
and the great hole you've left in my heart
