Corridors

by Lecrissa   Apr 18, 2005

Running through the corridors
In and out all the open doors
In the complexity of my mind
Looking for something I lost
That shouldn't be so hard to find
All I have to do
Is find the right door
To a memory locked in time
A memory that will bring
A smile to my face every time
I'm looking for
The happiness in the time we had
To use it in the times that are bad
I am here now all alone
In heaven now
I hope your soul does roam
But in my heart
Your memory shall remain
As long as I can
Find the door its behind again

God, this poem reminds me of me so much! I have a horrid memory due to blocking out a bad childhood. I wish I could remember things but I cant...well written poem...sorry to rave about my childhood, lol.

    4/5.
