You thought you had life figured out but now nothings what is seems,
Now you're left to pick up the pieces of your broken dreams.

How can you have nothing when once you had it all?
You had so many friends, but now there's no one to catch you when you fall.

You were so full of pride that you couldn't see it all coming apart,
You let stone walls cover your heart.

You pushed everyone away and made them feel small.
You stepped on their love so you could stand tall.

Now you have nothing and no one to care,
You shouldn't have taken for granted all the times that they were there.

You feel so alone and don't know where to turn.
You're too scared to go forward but can't go back for all the bridges you burned.

So next time you think you have it all,
Just remember that pride comes before the fall!
