Stab me Slowly

by Fig   May 4, 2005

Take the long silver dagger
Lay me on the ground
Though the fear is building
I mustn’t make a sound
Hold the blade against my chest
Slowly sink it in
Now has come the red reward
For all my hidden sin

The blood, it seeps and gurgles
And drips across my skin
My mouth it fills with redness
And it dribbles down my chin
Now my mind is screaming
A thousand shaking cries
But my mouth is gaping for
Salvation from the skies

The white-hot searing torment
Is burning with my pain
Hold the knife above my face
Prepare to stab again
A little blood drips from the blade
And falls into my eye
Your tortured face is splashed with red
And red tears I will cry

Bring the dagger slowly down
To rest upon my face
I pray for one last face of love
Or one more soft embrace
Stab me slowly this time now
Pierce through the skin
Feel the skull bone splinter
It’s fragile now, and thin

Thrust the pain into my head
And grimace as I die
This is what you do to me
When you say good-bye
