Your Eyes

by UM   May 6, 2005

When I looked in your eyes for the first time,
a twinkle looked back at me.
A brief flash of possibility,
of maybe what could be.
A second look trapped me,
floating in your gaze,
pulling me deeper,
unwilling to let me go.
From that point on,
there was no need for a third look.
It was then that I knew,
I was in love with you.

Not bad, I thought it was rather cute actually. It's amazing how much we lose , yet find just by the gaze of someone's eyes. 5/5

    Love,

Good poem, i liked the thought about it, but i couldn't give it a five in all honesty. There is a problem with the beats if you count them down, i know it is a minuate detail but when i look at the first line compared to the rest, it just doesn't add up.

    Four/Five.

P.S. thank you for your continueing input i really appriciate all your input and no matter how many times you point out my grammer, i am not going to solve it i don't think. LOL unless going to my friends father who is an english teacher and getting him to correct it lol. (retired).

Simply captivating. I can so relate to this poem as so many others probably can as well. Great job of bringing those feelings to life. Keep up the good work.
