That Look

Just look at the way he looks at her
You can see the love there in his eyes
The way he hangs on her every word
He looks completely mesmerized

Is he trying to memorize her treasures?
Her eyes, her skin, her lips, her hair
He seems to be taking tremendous pleasure
In simply watching her standing there

Just look at the way he looks at her
With so much love and adoration
He gazes at her in utter wonder
Totally entangled in his fascination

It’s in the way he holds her hand
It’s in the passion in his kiss
It’s as if she is the only one and
Everyone else ceases to exist

Just look at the way he looks at her
Oh how I hope that one sweet day
I’ll look up and find my someone
Looking at me in that very same way

    Beautifully penned, I love this piece! The flow is flawless and your rhymes are natural! These lines are absolutely breathtaking:

    "He gazes at her in utter wonder
    Totally entangled in his fascination"

    The only tip I have is you may want to change this line below:

    "It’s in the passion in his kiss"

    It might sound better if you say:
    It's in the passion of his kiss, just a thought! Keep it up~Holly
