Hope.

I can't keep this up,
It's going to kill me.
Sure I used to think I wanted it,
But back then I couldn't see.

Life really is worth living,
I should have seen it then.
Should ahve understood,
Before I hurt myself again and again.

For those of you who turn,
To your razor blades and knives,
Please please listen to me,
It's really not worth your life.

You may not see it now,
But there are better ways to cope.
Please put your sharps down,
Please don't give up hope.

Don't tell me I don't know,
What it's like or how it feels,
I used to do the very same things,
Just like yours, my scars are real.

They'll haunt me forever,
They'll never go away.
Deep pink scars everywhere,
I have to live with everyday.
