Mask of Suicide

by Freakie_D   May 13, 2005

Hide your face behind a mask
And lower your eyes
Don't let anyone see you
Ashamed of all their lies
A simple mask carved out of stone
Just decorated with pain
Never giving into depression
Long sleeves to cover your scarred veins
A long way from death
A short story made even shorter
A sadness overwhelming
Feelings blown up by a mortor
You can sit down and cry
But where is that going to get you?
You didn't even know, so how could you say they should have knew?
Just to feel worthlessness and die
But they love you
And you can't see
Your hiding behind the mask
Your dieing just like me
The mask covers your heart
And it covers your face
Hiding the distrust
and having the feeling of disgrace
Too lonely to admit it
Alone yet people are all around
Yet they can't see your pain
Only you can let it be found
The mask of suicide
Won't come off until your ready
I guess you can say your crucifide
And lost in this place
You take that razor to your wrist
And it all starts again
"be passive, dont use your fists"
Alone to yourself Again
The mask covers everything
yet nothing at all
You promised to save me
yet you let me fall
