No longer me

by Heather Clark   May 18, 2005

My souls blacker than night
its a as hollow
as the pit I've fallen in.
The tears seep from my eyes
and steadily fall
they form the puddle
where all my pain reflects in front of me
My hearts tormented
by the agony life causes me
and the fears that run my life.
My mind is troubled
and haunted by my sorrow
The sorrow becomes
a larger burden day after day
This empty road i am traveling
has no end
I've been too far
to where I'm lost
and believe I'll never find the way back
to the person i once was.

Hey. that was sad. but it was also touching, the second sentence seemed to have a little "hiccup" like a grammatical error. that was all.

Good poem, I liked it alot.
My favorite parts were "The sorrow becomes / a larger burden day after day"
and "I've been too far / to where I'm lost / and believe I'll never find the way back / to the person i once was."

Keep up the good work *hugs*
