I loved you with all my heart.
We promised that no matter what, we would never part.
You promised that you would never hurt me.
It was as if we were friends forever meant to be.
You were my angel and I was safe beneath your wings.
You protected me from all harmful things.
The one day, you left me to defend on my own
No one was there for me. I have never felt so alone
You betrayed me, you made me feel so unwanted.
Then to hear from you was all I ever wanted.
We would always be together right beside.
All you do now is ignore me and cast me aside.
No matter how hard I try, I can’t let go.
Because I have too much pain from all that I know.
You gave me pain deep inside my soul.
It’s spreading inside of me beyond my control.
I used to think you were my friend.
Was all that nothing but pretend?
