Hell is but a simlie

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Jun 15, 2005

Hell is but a simile;
we compare the world to Hell.
Love is but a metaphor,
it is nothing but Hell.
Life is but name calling.
Life is one big lie.
Death is just the truth of things,
as honest as can be.
Light just hides the truth of things,
blinds so nothing can be seen.
Darkness is as clear as you can see,
but no one looks deep enough to see what can be seen.
If eyes are the window
to the soul,
who holds the key
to the door
within my heart
still beating slow?
You turn the key
Twist the knob
Open the door
Take a step on the floor
You see my heart is partly torn
Your love reveals my scars
You see it's hard
You know the hurt
The pain is too much.
All twisted in with Love and Life I just can't act tough
But twisted is but a simile
we compare it to my soul
broken is but a metaphor
it describes our hearts
