We stare each other in the eye
You can't take in all the things I have done
Don't you know me anymore
I did this not because I wanted to
But in a way I had to

You say you're ashamed of me
Just look who's talking
I'm trying to fix the problems I caused around this place
You've done nothing to even prevent what has happened now

Your problem is that you can't control me
You can live and breathe through me
I tried to stop this from happening
Then later on I decided not to care
You're not my problem

You couldn't be there not once
All you had to do was stand there
You didn't have to say a word
But I've given up on you for longer than you think

I don't follow you around anymore
