would you be honest truthful loyal?

would you lay right here beside me?
would you dry the tears i cry?

would you offer me a helpful hand?
would you look into these eyes?

those words are just in stanzas
just some stupid mindless thoughts
just words i thought were true to me
until the pain that you then brought

because you didn't hold my hand
you were never really there
you turned your back and ran away
you weren't loyal you weren't fair

because you didn't lay beside me
you didn't dry the tears i cried
you broke my "almost mended heart"
then you laughed and watched me die

your helpful hand was nowhere to be found
not once did you look me in the eye
but through all those phases i loved you still...
