Misinformed Romance

by Heather M Craig   Jun 18, 2005

You utilized my very soul
for the purpose of self growth
in hopes to conquer a fear
and minimize self loathe.

You concealed your wretched desire
toward my misinformed eyes.
To charm a girl of greater lust,
you built our relationship on lies.

But when you drew too close,
your plan backfired on you
because you unveiled my soul
and the heart of many hues.

You damaged me inside
with your bitter love of trickery
but the joke's on you
because I left when you fell for me!

Heather M Craig.
**Yeah, this is a true story. My boyfriend's brother, Josh recently told me when Wade & I first got together, he used me to rid his fear of physical attachment to woo his ex back over along with the reason to get me closer with Josh but in the midst of the relationship, he fell in love with me..... sighs... it kind of hurt at first but I dumped him after I found out he used me--- I dumped him because no one deserves that treatment. I know, I know, sounds like a movie-eh?
