Graduation (Still be here)

by Avrii Monrielle   Jun 20, 2005

Thank you all for this great year
Thanks for being true
Thanks for being friends with me
And thanks for being you.

If only people didn't hug me as I went
If only people didn't cry
Maybe I wouldn't miss you already this much
But if not then why?

I really loved being friends
When nothing went wrong
I never liked those arguments
Like a harsh sung song

Now that we're gone we cannot cry
We cannot shed a tear
Some dearest friends might move away
But at least one time they were here

Every kid at the dance
Smiled at once tonight
I can't beleive what I saw
Such a sweet sight

Sure we must have looked real stupid
But who again did not?
Its not whether we leave or stay
Its more like a sudden thought

I miss you all again
I know I'll think of you next year
Sure at my new school I'll have some friends
But the dearest are not always here

Shed a tear at darkest time
If thats what happens worst
Its not bad to cry if it has a reason
Its just bad if you're cursed.

I really like this, i went to a private school till 7th grade, and had to move to a public school, and no one else went there w/ me. But, i didn't like the people in my grade in 6th. But GREAT! poem. I loved it..
