Babies of Abortion

by abcede   Jun 26, 2005

One late night last year in May;
May the twenty-third,
Something happened secretly;
It's nothing you'd have heard.
Someone was impacted then...
not anyone could see.
That person was so innocent
That person was just me.
I was so quiet for so long;
it's like i was not there.
But when they realized what they'd done
they thought it was not fair.
For them, not me, they cared about.
They thought i did not feel.
But they were wrong, indeed i did.
I was clearly real.
They could not hear my thoughts on this;
ignored my interest best.
They thought I was a curse; a crime
but really they were blessed.
My fate had been decided then...
I was another portion...
the masses of real people;
babies of abortion.

    Ah, I understood it. Read through it twice just to make sure. Very creative. I like how you put yourself in place of the character. You're a great writer. Awesome job. 5/5.
