Sinister Forces

by Heather M Craig   Jun 28, 2005

When the hope around me crumbled
and the sky seemed to sink,
I felt trapped in an unknown world
as my body seemed to shrink.

I felt binded by nature's being
intangible to society's naked eye.
I felt trapped beneath myself
as my soul seemed to die.

I felt as if nothing could save me,
I thought the sinister forces took me, all
And I never backed down from the fight
and I found myself after all.

Heather M Craig.
--kind of weak, forgive me. It was one of those 5 minute poems.--
