Alone

Alone so very alone.
Yet surrounded by those who truly care
Alone so very much alone
They can never feel the total loss you bear
And then you watch the delicate dancing moonbeams on a soft rolling wave
It’s there! The laughter, the moments shared, the love I crave.

Alone so very alone.
Yet love abounds from those who care.
Alone so very much alone.
How can they know the special bond you share?
And then you feel the afternoon breeze as it caresses your soul with its soft touch.
It’s there! The hugs, the support, and the sweet kisses you want so much

Alone so very alone.
Yet support from friends is everywhere
Alone so very much alone
How can they know how you feel when he’s not there?
And then you embrace the warm rays of dawns first light.
The moments shared, the memories complete you know he loves with all his might.

Alone so very alone
They laugh they smile. You’ll be alright in a little while.
Alone so very much alone
How can they for one minute know the wrenching pain you undergo?
And then you see the faces of your precious special girls
Your heart bursts with pride to see his magic legacy - His Girls.
