My hearts mistakes

The long suffering struggle
between the heart and the head
my long suffering heart
every single tear I've shed

Its way due time
to forget my past
let go of the hurt
and move on at last

The past is what it is
and thats where it should stay
no within my broken heart
waiting to be released one day

I need to learn
how to well and truly let go
accept my mistakes
and go with the flow

It sure is easy
to be writing in word form
what about real life
is my preaching Worth to conform?

All i know is this
and that is nothing at all
I just have to take it as it comes
get up when i fall
