It’s You

by Ð맆îñ¥   Jul 14, 2005

When I’m lost in city streets
When I’m crushed by crisp ice sheets
When I’m stuck on a turning wheel
When I can’t remember what is real
When the pen leaks a crimson ink
When I’m always falling over the brink
When I’m strolling through a burning fire
When I’m sinking, wanting to get higher
When I’m skipping past lines of concrete
Inwardly knowing I’m no longer complete
When the wind whistle briskly past me
When the gardens are all left in debris
When the birds flee out of sight
When the days become an endless night
When lies are there to backup the truth
When the young forget their youth
When I can’t seem to make it though
I’ve found only one cure; it’s you

    Beautifully written list of some
negative sides of life. Lost and
forgotten without a care in the
arms of a lover. Not a thing matters
when in love, but the way we feel
for each other together, like love
lasting forever in a world without
    end.

Dang!!! Girl, an excellent show of
emotion no doubt, a sad read indeed.
Yet with a happy ending. Write On
