Insecurities

by NoPatience   Jul 22, 2005

I often find myself
surrounded by my own blood
drowned in my insecurities
or washed away at shore

And yet no one can see
my insecurities
hidden beneath my lies
covered by my guilt

my blood is so rich
full of my emotion
yet empty of truth
never to be seen

held high enough
on needle thin tread
never to be broken
but ripped into shreds
