Silent Tears

This poem is very close to my heart.. it talked about something that really happened one day in school.. i wrote it with a broken heart.. and i hesitated to post it coz i wasn't ready to share it yet.. but now i think i am.. so plz read, rate and comment..it would mean a lot

Silent tears escaping eyes
speak so much of pain and goodbyes
silent hearts screaming inside
from all the hurt they cannot hide
when does all this misery end
this is the truth that would not bend

one normal day, we lived it through
but with that life, we died it, too
and as i walked on through that day
she stopped me once and started to say
her lips were moving, but i couldn't hear
the world tuned out, and i felt fear

my heart seemed to stop beating on
when she told me that she has gone
i moved about, all in a daze
as silent tears slid down my face
and watched helplessly as word spread round
about the place she must have found
when she left us and though we knew
that it was fate, we denied it true

how are they coping with their loss
was the first thought that occurred to us
oh how we prayed they'd be alright
oh how i hoped they'd find the light
to guide them without their angel near
to wipe away their silent tears

silence has never spoken so loud
silence was then the only sound
and as i cried that day i thought
about the gifts that God has brought
so i thanked God for all the ways
the people i love were there through the days

but those i prayed to the most
are those who someone they have lost

i hope that they don't hurt too much
this is fate we cannot touch

and as these silent tears escape
of a broken heart they take the shape
