Eyes

They say that the eyes are the portal to the soul,

but what lies within my eyes, i cannot control.

no one but me knows what my eyes have seen,

some thoughts are of happiness, while others remain obscene.

but the one memory which in my mind always lies,

was the first time i looked into your crystal blue eyes.

i remember looking deep into them and then i knew.

from that moment on, i wanted to be with you.

i knew the feelings were never going to leave no matter what i do.

and i remember wondering, that if when you looked into my eyes, you saw my soul too.
