Of all the hard times i can remember,
The worst one i can recall,
Is layin in bed crying "I want my daddy, I want my daddy, thats all"

Of all the hard times,
This is the one that sticks with me the most,
And as I lay awake crying,
I can imagine his pale ghost

I can almost feel his touch,
Im almost in his grip,
But i know this will never last,
Because heaven was his last trip

I just want my daddy,

To be so lose and so near

Why'd my daddy have to go?
Was it cause of me?
Was my birth my daddy's curse
Was I his final fee?

I just want one cuddle,
I only want to say my goodbye,
And to tell him his little girl can't be brave,
Because all she does is cry
