Thanks to thoe little things

by ~*^*~ longing to belong ~*^*~   Aug 6, 2005

Sometimes, I’ll admit it,
The pain is hard to bear,
Occasionally, I am near the edge,
Close enough to look over,

But every time there is something,
Perhaps a parents loving smile,
Maybe the sweet smell of a flower,
But always, something holds me back,

As I’m nearing the end,
Of my struggles,
They are just beginning,
To work hard,

I know that behind my broken body,
There is always new hope,
One which they have prepared,
Ready to slot in place of the lost one,

Somehow, with a rope made of care,
They always pull me back,
I may get so close that stones fall over the edge,
But I know I will never follow them.

I just want to say thank you so much to all those people out there.
