Love Lust Doubt And Denial

by Ashes of a Black Rose aka Night Child   Aug 7, 2005

Grace and beauty define your spirit
Evil magic controls your soul
Shimmering in the night, your wings moonlit
Enchantingly dangerous is nature’s loophole

Twirling in such an elegant dance
You kiss the blue-black midnight skies
Silently singing your songs of romance
Ending abruptly when innocence dies

You stop in midair and turn to look
Excited sparks fuel your body as you hover
You quickly capture the gift he took
From this deceptive male and his young lover

One ambitious little devil you are, small fairy
So passionate you are, yet blind to consequence
You gave him my heart and he took it fairly
Cruel intentions, evil love, its your 6th sense

Thank you my tiny fairy “friend”
For a man who I’m sure loves me true
And the broken heart you gave to mend
But most of all, thanks for the truth

  • This is such a clever poem !!
It's beautiful yet beautiful in a twisted, dark way...
I really like this, it's well written and flows amazingly.
There are some really clever rhymes that don't seem as though they've been forced together.
    Well Done !!
