Every time I close my eyes, thoughts of you manage to appear
And every time I think of you, I cant help but shed a tear

If I have anything left, it would be my memories of you
The times weve spent together, and all weve been through
I can remember our deepest promise that we would never break apart
I remember every word; I felt them through the beats in your heart

But look at where I stand,
Looking back at what we once had
Just knowing I could have kept it together
Makes me feel heartbroken and sad

Every day I am away from you, it makes me miss you even more
