The start of your poem reminded me of a nightmare I had where I died and went to hades, where my task for all eternity was to read generic love poems about loss.

I knew, of course, that your poem couldn't possibly be generic, so I read on with vigor.

It was worth it. The ending was good. My only critique is that the last line of the third stanza seemed a bit too short for the rhythm that was being built up.

This one is good, the ending was really funny. I liked it. At first I wasn't sure what was funny, but then I realized.
