For Corey

I'm writing this poem for my son
He really wanted a funny one
I love him more than anybody
But he makes me VERY nutty!
He is now the age of ten...
I don't know if I could begin again!!
He's a good kid for the most part
And he really truly is "my heart"
But I'm telling you, this kid drives me to drink!
Jumps around here, acts crazy, I barely can think!
Forgets his homework at school
And loses books...TWICE!
I need some kind of kid-punishment device!
He really needs SOMETHING to keep him in line...
Either that or I need to finally just get a spine!!!
I need to stick to it when I tell him no..
But he gives me a kiss, and off he will go!....
I love him so much and the drinking was just a joke,
I don't usually drink anything harder than Coke! :)
