I love the imagery in this poem and the way it flows from one stanza to the next - it tells a story. It seems so sad on one hand, because he's leaving home, away from his parents... Then on the other hand, it's so happy and sweet that he's gone to find her. You're a master of the mixed emotion, in and out of the realm of poetry. Truly talented you are. Keep it up, hun. ^.^ <3

Darien, beautiful as always, I hope you find in life, what you’re looking for and deserve! It’s a sad story, but sometimes it’s good to take the next step, to find out who you really are. I remember the day I left my family, I wasn’t sad though, I was relieved, and we fought all the time. I found what I thought to be love, but after 9 years of wasting my life, I figured out I was only trying to convince myself. I hope you have a great success in life and love! Best of luck to you! Take Care! Brooke~
I am so glad the red number are working again =)

This was very nicely writtin, and had a great flow. good job. but in the second stanza the fisrt line seemsed almost to long for the rest of it and kinda messed up the flow. but it was still beautifly written.5/5 keep writting and thanks for the comment.
