Love for a Stranger

Waiting for someone,
Who you don't know,
Is like trying to run,
Up a mountain of glowing snow.

It's peak unreachable,
Yet still there,
It seems tangible,
But attempts end in despair.

One day,
I hope,
That climber will be me,
And the peak will be mine,

But I'll keep at it,
Until I'm there,
And will not quit,
Till I feel the peak's hot air..
