Full Circle

by Brandon Evans   Aug 20, 2005

Trapped in the fabric of fictional reality; it is a part of me.
Time stands still; a moment lasts forever.
Bitter memories of past lives; eternally they haunt

Astringent words cutting with little remorse
Reflections of guilt stare from behind these eyes
Just like it were yesterday…

The emotion flows like a river; drowning those in its path
Desperately rationalized; anything to keep a drop

Keys to the 12th petal, now long lost; the day-break star has set
Left to dusk with open arms and a broken heart
