can you even understand,
that you capture my heart,

way before

just when i thought
i could love no more

like none before

like an eagle,
i felt like i could soar,
into the sky
forever more

the day that i met you
to the day that you kissed me
the day you held me
the way you miss me

i can't sleep
when i think of you
and i can't focus
when i think about the things you do

like a dream

the only thing that's gone right,

everything is messed up
my life's a big mess
but when you're there
the clutter gets less
