Now Look At Me

Now Look At Me

There I was, the out casted;
No one noticed me there.
Miserable and depressed;
Hated for what Iâ??d wear.

There you were, the popular;
Liked by those like you.
You noticed me;
And sneered at me too.

Now 8 years later;
Iâ??m rockin the stage each day.
There you are, in a beat down trailer;
Wondering how you got that way.

I used to wish I was popular;
Wished you'd like me too.
Now I'm thankful;
That I'm nothing like you.

A baby in your arms;
Yet the father's not around.
Designer's clothes shredded and torn;
Who you were, is nowhere to be found.

Now look whose laughing;
Don't you wish you were me?
You're what you never wanted;
Look at me, I'm everything I wanted to be.
