    JJ,
This was beautiful. Something about that little girl even when they're grown, they are still Daddy's little girl... That's a very special bond but they do have to let her go and spread her wings as you said... You are talented my dear and I enjoy reading your poems.....

    hugs, love, Ann

Oh wow I loved this poem.....I think I would want my privacy and to live my own life..then again I don't know if I'd ever want my daddy to let me go..I'd always want his protection, yet I'd want his support in living my own life..Wonderful poem JJ I really loved reading this!

Absolutley amazing. You conveyed the bond in which the father and daughter had; and it showed in the poem the extent the father loved his girl. So well done - I loved it :)

Wow, that was beautiful, you are very talented, this is an excellent poem, this poem is soo true, and you're absolutely right, about how dad's need to let go and everything, and daddy's lil gurl, i quit being daddy's lil gurl some years ago. i'd rather have my life to myself, along with my privacy, which he does not give! it's too complicated to explain. but my parents are always out, and left me in the care of my granda day after day. and daddy's lil gurl-left and moved on. daddy's lil gurl got tired of waiting. excellent poem 5/5

Dammit, i've been crying all day from previous poems i've read. I've just STOPPED when i decided to come and read your work.

LOL, but the tears were worth it.

I've always been a momma's girl, but this helps me to understand how good of a relationship a father and his daughter can have. I love it. :) Very nice job, JJ.

I love this poem, it's so sweet and holds a great bond between a father and daughter. i am though mostly closer to my mother simply because she is eaiser to talk to but i still love my dad dearly. wonderful write, truely beautiful.
