SKYHOPPING

by Gary Jurechka   Sep 24, 2005

Dazzle a weary mind
with fresh roses of sustenance
break through topsoil barriers
to kiss the stars

Breathe ambrosia under moon showers
fly on cloud wings to the sun
a windswept ego stands at the crossroads
of dreams and worlds

Tap dancing on visions of nirvana
singing children's voices resound
through crystal chasms of light

Bask in serene chairs
walk through fields of random
stand on the edge of forever
Forge a new existence

Gaze through the mirror eye shaft
touch sentiments of sentience
taste raw emotion, ingest the day
explode, baptized in the moment

Rip away flesh walls of stone
to see the soul immaculate
naked and exposed

The enlightened few from
the tribe of gods with feathered minds
burst through clinging webs and
run laughing down streets of wilderness
