Hiding My Depression

I laugh to hide
my depression
i may always look happy
but i am only trying to deceive you

you always ask
if i am all right
and i always say i'm fine
but you can't see that i am lying

you see
the only reason that
i lie is to make sure
you don't worry about me

you don't care
if i am suicidal
you can't see that can you?
you only worry, you take no actions

when it comes to me
you only act like you care
but i see what you feel
i know you don't care
if i die right now

i know you
love your son
you love each other
but what about your daughter
i must be invisible to you
