Endlessly I will love you

And with every fallen leaf comes a tear
With every chill comes a chocked cry.
Tonight specifically she is reminded
Of the night that you had died.

A day never felt so long
A year never felt so fast
As that cold November night
When she saw you last.

Sitting in your car
She never felt so glad
To have a friend like you
You were the best shed ever had.

You came to her rescue that night
As her parents screamed and fought.
You were her hero, her savior
Telling her what you thought.

You told her she was amazing
That her parents were blind not to see
And that if they didnt love her
He would love her endlessly.

Dropping her off at home
You leaned in and gave her a kiss.
It was the first you two shared
And the only one she would miss.

She walked into her house
After waving to you good bye.
She wanted to jump for joy
But only gave a sigh.

Her parents were still arguing
She knew it wouldnt stop
So quietly she slipped into bed
Thats when she heard the cops.

As the sirens flew by
She immediately thought of you.
She ran to her window
And in her heart she knew.

Weeks later she sat at your grave
And spoke out loud to you.
Her parents were getting divorced
She didnt know what to do.

She thought that she was alone in the world
That you had left her forever.
But you knew something she didnt know
And that was that you had never.

Suddenly the snow began to fall
From the heavens up above
As something red flew through the air
Carried by a beautiful dove.

As the dove landed
A red rose did too
With a note that read,
Endlessly I will love you.
