My friend

My closest friend
Your always there in times of need
With me till the end
And I know you'll eternity be

You know what to say at the right time
You'll always tell me when I'm out of line
Help me up the steep paths of life
When I want to quit you tell me to fight

We joke around more than most
You're funnier but you never boast
You even made me laugh when I wanted to cry
And of course you barely even tried

I've betrayed you I don't know why
But you're still here, you still stuck by
I'll never again be a bad friend
Cause you deserve what I haven't been

You deserve a friend like you
And I'll try and try till I turn blue
Morgan, you truly are the best friend ever
And I hope, I pray it'll stay for ever and ever

    The poem is really good and it makes you feel so comforted to hear these things from such a close friend. And its a great feeling to have when you have a friend that amazing and you want to measure up to their friendship and you feel like you can't but they know you are and that you mean so much to them. well ~ nice write.
