Death at the Altar

by Nikole   Sep 28, 2005

I think its time you know the truth,
Decipher whats wrong with you.
You see birds swim,
You watch fish fly,
You confuse people with the simplest lie.
A carriage and a horse of brown,
They ride you into town.

Hide the knife behind your back,
Walk around put on an act.
Careful not to slit your throat,
Blood stained in a single note.
Minor keys make the tune,
The Bride fell because of you.

Play a tune soft and sweet,
Remember the fate you're about to meet.
Murder by numbers, what a game;
Go ahead, live your life in shame.
It's not that they deserve to live,
So go on and give your gift.

Hide the knife behind your back,
Walk around put on an act.
Careful not to slit your throat,
Blood stained in a single note.
Minor keys make the tune,
The Groom fell because of you.

It got a little confusing in some parts, and I saw a lot of mis-spelled words, but the dark edge was very peculiar, and quite nice to read.

    Good Writing!

Watch the grammer, but overall nice write. I don't think I understand all of it though, this is quite a unique piece.
