Crystalline Tears

by jac   Oct 6, 2005

These tears fall down
into a pool of crystal
the drops are so steady
making my reflection ripple

my eyes are swollen
bloodshot and red
my heart was stolen
then broken til dead

I cant stop this stream
cant stop my pain
I wish it were a dream
that my tears were just rain

but this feeling is real
it's a living nightmare
these cuts will soon heal
though I'm still in dispair

my tears are flooding
down over my wrists
mixing in with my blood
this pain is such bliss

compared to my hurt
from all these emotions
physical pain is a flirt
washing over me in oceans

the scars will still show
no one knows the real story
my life needs to go
go away from this misery

but my life cant be over
it just cant be through
it wont last forever
it'll end because of you

I'm still so young
have a life left to live
but I guess I'll be hung
I've no love left to give

this noose is so tight
hanging over the red pool
I begin to take flight
my tears, a crystal jewel..
